WALLULA, Wash. -- Fire Crews continue to monitor possible flare-ups off Highway 730 just West of the Wallula Junction.
The fire started last night just before 7 p.m. Firefighters say a train passing by may have sparked the fire. It was burning between the railroad tracks and the Columbia River.
Winds caused the fire to travel fast. Highway 730 was shut down for about an hour last night as firefighters battled flames from the wildfire. Around 20 Acres was burned.
