Prosecutors Charge Inmate in Inmate Murder Case, More Likely to Follow

Yakima, WA -  Prosecutors charge an inmate with killing another inmate at the Yakima County Jail.

Nathan Parsley was arraigned in court late this afternoon.

The Yakima County Prosecutor's Office tells us that warrants will likely be issued for three more inmates tomorrow.

Today 32-year-old Nathan Parsley stood before a judge and was formally charged with second degree murder for allegedly killing another immate - 30-year-old Damian Long.

Police say the alleged incident happened at the Yakima County Jail on August 9th.

Police say it was a planned attack.

Long was in jail for domestic violence when he was killed.

Parsley was put back in jail for violating parole.

Parsley's bail in the murder case has been set at one million dollars.
