Yakima, WASH. -- There are a few areas in and around Yakima that drivers may want to avoid this week.
The ramp connecting I-82 westbound with Highway 12 westbound will be closed from 7p.m. until 5a.m. That will last for three nights, starting tonight, and running until Wednesday. Drivers should take the Rest Haven Road exit near Selah, cross over I-82, and continue East on Highway 12.
In Yakima, speeds will be reduced on parts of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The speed limit will be 20 miles per hour while crews remove pavement between Pierce Avenue and First Avenue. On Lincoln Avenue, traffic will be cut down to two lanes between First Street and North Front Street while crews install a new sewer main and restore sidewalks.
