KENNEWICK, Wash.- Employees at a Kennewick diner say the restaurant isn't paying them.
A former employee at The Spot Diner says not only was she not being paid, but when she spoke up about it, she was fired.
The former employee we talked to says she was only paid periodically in cash, and not paid what she was owed.
The Department of Labor and Industries says at least one complaint has been filed with against The Spot Diner on Columbia Drive in Kennewick.
"Most claims can be worked out usually in a reasonable way with the employer and the employee sometimes it's just a matter of finding out what the circumstances are and getting it resolved," said Elaine Fischer with L&I.
KNDU stopped by the restaurant multiple times today to talk to ownership, but it was closed.
A neighboring business owner did tell me though that the restaurant owner had admitted to him that he recently let some employees go.
