YAKIMA, Wash - Kelly Walsh's family knew something was wrong when she went missing almost three weeks ago. Late Thursday night, their fears were confirmed, when police found her body stuffed in her own car.
On October 9th, after not hearing from her since September 21st, Walsh's family reported her missing to the Yakima Police Department.
An investigation led police to her home and to her partner, Tracy L. Johnson. They found Walsh's body in the trunk of her classic Pontiac Bonneville convertible. Johnson and Walsh had partners for almost a decade.
An autopsy reveled Walsh had been shot multiple times.
Johnson was arrested and charged with 1st degree murder. She appeared in court Friday afternoon and her bail was set at $1,000,000.
