Yakima House Fire Caused 25,000 Dollars in Damage Saturday Night

YAKIMA, Wash. - Yakima Firefighters were called to the 400 block of South 25th Avenue in Yakima for a house fire.

Officials report that the roof and attic burned causing 25,000 dollars in damage.  Firefighters said they also pulled the ceiling down and cut a hole in the roof to get to the fire.

Firefighters think the cause was accidental. 

Saturday night the family was homeless and have received help from the Red Cross.

No one was reported hurt.

West Valley, Yakima, and Union Gap Firefighters all responded to the flames.
