Truck Involved with Spokane Hit and Run Found in Yakima
YAKIMA, Wash - Evidence of a deadly hit and run in Spokane has been found in Yakima.
A truck, registered to a Yakima man, was taken by police in connection with a vehicular homicide that happened late last month.
Witnesses in Spokane say the truck hit a 77 year old man and drove away. Donald Seever suffered head injuries and died 10 days later.
Spokane police were in Yakima Tuesday to take the truck back to their evidence lab.
"We have probable cause to believe that this was the vehicle involved in that. It has been updated from a vehicular assault to a homicide since the gentleman has died," said Office Dave Adams of the Spokane Police Department.
Officer Adams also says they don't have probable cause to arrest anyone right now. They plan to have a suspect in custody in the next two weeks.
