KENNEWICK, Wash. - The streets of downtown Kennewick were flooded with orange and black as students, teachers, and alumni celebrated the Homecoming Parade 2007.

Wednesday marked the 100-year anniversary of the celebration for the Kennewick High School.  There were 20 floats and more than a dozen fancy cars in the parade.

The parade started at Kennewick High School on Dayton Street, headed South towards 6th Street, then North on Auburn Street, then West on Kennewick Avenue.

The parade started at 5:30 Wednesday evening and lasted about a half an hour.

Organizer and Kennewick High School Sophomore Class Advisor Desiree Martinez said school officials are proud of their students and the spirit of Kennewick High.
