KENNEWICK, Wash.- A survivor of the Fred Russell crash speaks out.
Sameer Ranade survived the deadly crash on the Pullman-Moscow highway in 2001, but some of his friends didn't.
Today, Ranade says the trial brings up a variety of feelings, but it's good to finally see russell being held accountable six years later.
"I'm not really sure how much of a, how remorseful Russell feels about the incident, and so you know, i definitely think that, he, whatever, i'm glad to see that he's finally being brought to justice," he said.
Ranade is expected to testify against Russell next week.
