CWU Players looking forward to Battle in Seattle

ELLENSBURG, Wash. - Central Washington football players will get the royal treatment this weekend when they get to play at Qwest Field. The 5-1 Wildcats meet the 2-4 Western Washington Vikings in the Fifth Annual Battle of Seattle. Playing at the home of the Seahawks should be pretty cool.

"It's sweet," said receiver Johnny Spevak. "The field is amazing. It feels like you cut faster and run faster, plus nice locker rooms, everything like that. It's just a blast to be out there."

"I like a lot of little things surrounding the gam," said Coach Beau Baldwin. "Just driving into the parking a lot seeing people you haven't seen in two years, five years, ten years even, It's like a big reunion."

Kickoff is at 6 p.m. in Seattle. CWU has won three of the last four meetings, including the last two in a row,
