Helping Out a Walla Walla Lineman

WALLA WALLA, Wash. -- One Walla Walla lineman was honored Friday night as friends and family said "once a Blue Devil, always a Blue Devil."

People used a raffle to raise money for Dylan "The Diesel" Worsech before Friday night's football game against Eisenhower.

Worsech was a lineman on the team last year. But on October 3rd, he was involved in a single-car rollover accident and was paralyzed from the waist down.

He says rehabbing the injury has been difficult but the support from the community has made things easier.

Worsech still has six to eight weeks of rehab at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland. But tonight, the Walla Walla community came together to raise $3,400.

Donations can still be made in Worsech's name at any Baker Boyer Bank.
