LAS VEGAS (AP) - David Copperfield's lawyer is rebutting an allegation that the magician "forced himself" on a woman.
In a statement, Attorney David Chesnoff said an unidentified woman made a false allegation.
He defended his client, insisting - quote - "David Copperfield has never forced himself on anyone."
Neither Chesnoff nor law enforcement officials have provided details about the allegation or an FBI search of a Copperfield warehouse in Las Vegas and a casino theater where the magician regularly performs.
Seattle FBI agent Robbie Burroughs has said the Las Vegas investigation was part of a Seattle case, declining to comment further.
