PASCO, Wash. - A Horizon twin-engine turbo prop plane was forced to make an emergency landing at the Tri-Cities Airport Monday night.
Flight 2268 out of Seattle was on its way to Boise when there was some type of problem with the engine, which forced the pilot to land the plane at around nine o'clock.
Passengers had to wait here at the Pasco airport until another plane was able to fly in from Seattle to take them to Boise.
The passengers did finally make it to Boise, but that second flight didn't take off until just after midnight making it a long night for them.
Anyone who wanted to drive had to wait at least an hour and a half for rental cars to be available.
Horizon hasn't said what caused the engine to fail forcing the emergency landing.
