Second Suspect Released in Murder Investigation

Yakima, WA - Thursday, October 25th

Yakima detectives release a second suspect arrested in connection with a murder on Monday night.

A 17-year-old boy has been set free.

Police made two arrests early yesterday morning, but released 31-year-old Reuben Rojas that afternoon, after his alibi checked out, followed by the teen today.

Detectives say they're having trouble getting witnesses to talk or tell the truth about the shooting that killed 26-year-old Esteban Robles on Roosevelt Avenue in North Yakima.

There's also concerns about possible retaliation.

Police believe the shooting is gang related and have interviewed more than 20 known gang members about the murder.

The Robles family says he was not in a gang.
