Pasco Power Outage

PASCO, Wash. -- A power outage in Pasco all started because of some birds. Many businesses along Road 68 shut their doors and Franklin PUD says an estimated 700 or 800 of its customers were without power Sunday.

Officials say starlings got into some equipment at a substation near Road 68 and Power Line Road. The outage started at about 9:30 am and ended about two hours later.
