MILL CREEK, Wash. (AP) - Authorities say 18-year-old Christopher Chandler was shot and killed outside a Halloween house party in the Mill Creek area early Sunday Morning.
The Snohomish County sheriff's office arrested a 22-year-old Ellensburg man believed to have been the gunman.
It happened around 1 a.m. Sunday, after the two young men got into an argument.
Authorities say Chandler was trying to break up the fight. They say the suspect was later found at a nearby home.
He is being held for 2nd degree murder.
Police were still collecting evidence at day break and were trying to determine if anyone else at the party witnessed the shooting.
