KENNEWICK, Wash. - The Kennewick Irrigation District now has a new permanent manager.
Former KID board Vice President Doug Grover is taking over. He replaces Interim Manager Victor Johnson.
Grover said he wants see the district succeed, deliver water efficiently, and focus on the customer.
"People want water, but they don't want to worry about water," said Doug Grover, Kennewick Irrigation District Manager.
Grover manages nearly 88 miles of canals, and roughly 21,000 customers.
Grover has lived in the Tri-Cities for 30 years. He will also act as Secretary for the K.I.D. Board of Directors.
