Moscow, Idaho - Two Tri-Cities men convicted of distributing methamphetamine in Washington and Idaho are headed to federal prison.

27 year-old Jose Avila Rubio of Pasco, and 23 year-old Estevan Juan Mendoza of Kennewick were sentenced in federal court in Moscow Wednesday.

Rubio was convicted of conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of meth.  He will serve 15 years in prison then five years of supervised release.

Mendoza is convicted of possession of 125 grams of meth with intent to deliver.  He'll serve 10 years in prison along with five years of supervised release.

The FBI and Idaho investigators say the men distributed the drugs in Lewiston and Clarkston counties, and the Nez Perce Reservation between 2002 and 2005.

Fourteen other men are charged in the same case.
