Girl Scouts Recalls Cans of Cashews sold in Washington

yAKIMA, Wash.- Girl scouts in Washington is recalling it's 10 oz. cans of Ashdon Farms Cashews. The recall comes after small pieces of metal were found in some cans.

Girl scouts says the cashews were sold in a handful of counties on the westside of the state. Scouting officials say no injuries or illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall. Ashdon farms is investigating how the metal pieces fell into the cans.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled cashews can get a full refund or a replacement by calling Ashdon Farms at (800) 274-3666.

The cashews were sold in Pierce, Lewis, Thurston, Grays Harbor, Cowlitz, Washkiakum and Pacific counties
