KENNEWICK, Wash. - A new study by the Better Business Bureau showed fewer people trust the companies they do regular business with.
Real estate brokers, cell phone and wireless providers and car dealers were among the least trusted in the study.
One Kennewick man said he trusts people but doesn't think cell phone companies and car salesmen are honest.
Gabriel Gonzales said, "They'll say anything, do anything to get you to buy a car, they're just in it for the commission."
Researchers say the purpose of the study is to provide guidance to business owners so they can take steps to improve consumer trust.
The study found women are more trusting then men.
People in the study would rather deal with a small business than a large one.
