Two Oregon Men Arrested for Cocaine in Nebraska

Lincoln, Neb. - Two  Oregon men are facing drug charges after Troopers seized 27 kilos of cocaine from their pickup.

Nebraska State Patrol said the truck was pulled over for speeding on Interstate 80 in Lancaster County and troopers were given permission to search the vehicle.

The patrol said 20 bundles of cocaine, worth an estimated $1.5 million, were found in a hidden compartment in an external gas tank.

Michel Yoder, 51, of Boardman, and a Gustavo Avalos, 39, of Irrigon, Oregon, each face a charge of possession of cocaine with intent to deliver.

They are incarcerated in the Lancaster County Jail.
