YAKIMA, Wash. -- Drivers can expect delays while crews work to repair a bridge over I-90.
The bridge, which is near Easton, was hit by a pole on top of a semi-truck back on October 31st. The Department of Transportation determined it was damaged beyond repair and decided to replace the entire east side of the bridge.
The DOT is aiming to have construction completed by December 16th, but they say it could take longer if bad weather hits.
Traffic on I-90 will be cut to one lane today near the bridge. Drivers can expect up to 15 minute delays during peak travel hours.
