KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Kennewick Police are investigating a case where three people used stolen identities to steal cars from a Tri-Cities auto dealership.
Police say between August 6th and October 3rd, 5 vehicles were bought using the false information at Leskovar Lincoln Mercury in Kennewick.
One of the identity theft victims was from California. She called police when her credit report said she had bought a car in Kennewick.
Four of the five cars have been recovered by police. Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the identity thefts. It's still not known how the suspects got the information to buy the cars.
