Yakima, WA - Neighbors says something needs to be done about a dangerous intersection in West Valley.
There was another big accident there tonight.
The accident happened at about 5:30 this evening at the intersection of Wide Hollow Road and 96th Avenue.
A man who lives near the intersection says he sees an accident like this at least once a month.
A woman driving a Nissan Sentra was broad sided by a Dodge Ram pick up truck, but a sheriff's deputy says she only had to be taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons.
The pickup ran a stop sign headed south on 96th, hit the car going west on Wide Hollow and then plowed into a Ford F-350 pickup.
Christoper Mountainbird heard the crash and then called 9-1-1.
He says there is a big problem with speeders on these two roads and the stop sign on 96th is too close to the intersection, so often times drivers blow right by it.
"I've come in trying to turn into my home and had someone just fly around me as though they were racing," says Mountainbird.
He suggests putting in a four way stop light.
