TACOMA, Wash. (AP) - Authorities in Pierce County are investigating the discovery of 2 bodies in a home near the town of Graham.
Sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer says detectives are treating the case as an apparent double homicide.
The bodies are those of a man and a woman, believed to be a married couple in their 20s. They were found Saturday by a neighbor who noticed that a door in the home appeared to have been kicked in.
Troyer described the cause of death only as "homicidal violence."
Troyer says it's too soon to say whether the dead couple were targeted or victims of a random attack. He says nothing appeared to be missing from the house, but detectives donÂ’t believe it was a homicide-suicide.
No suspects or motive were immediately identified.
