A.C.E.S support group collects donations to send care packages to our troops
With the holidays approaching many local groups are working hard to make sure our men and women serving over seas are remembered this Christmas.
The support group A.C.E.S. was out on Sunday at Wal Mart in Richland collecting items to send in care packages to troops from the Tri Cities and surrounding areas.
They know that the holidays are a busy time for everybody, but want to remind people that we still have men and women serving our country overseas who wont be able to come home for the holidays.
Cathy Conrad, A.C.E.S. volunteer says the men and women are away from their families and so we need to take care of them let them know we appreciate what they are doing and that we are all thankful to their service to our great country.
If you would like to make a donation A.C.E.S. will be at the Festival of Trees at the Tri City Convention Center next Monday November 26th from 8:00 am to 4:00pm.
Donations for postage are welcome as well.
A.C.E.S. hope to send one hundred care packages out on December 1st to soldiers.
