    Last week, Moses Lake Police officers teamed up with members of the Northwest Violent Offender’s Task Force to locate a wanted felon and confiscate his illegally-possessed guns. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office and Department of Corrections were also involved in tracking this guy down.     ARLINGTON, Wash. (AP) - A wildlife center north of Seattle is offering a $1,000 reward for information about who shot a bald eagle. The Daily Herald reports the Sarvey Wildlife Center got a call Wednesday from someone who said they heard gunshots and saw an eagle fall to the ground near Snohomish. Wildlife center staff brought the eagle estimated to be about a year old to the center for medical care. Officials said Thursday that the eagle died overnight.  &n...

    SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. - Sunday evening, Grant County Sheriff's Deputy Brad Humphrey was driving through the parking lot of the Airway Heights Walmart when his attention was drawn to a vehicle parked on the far west side.  As he drove toward the vehicle, he noticed a dryer hose attached to the exhaust pipe which ran into the open trunk.  Deputy Humphrey parked, approached the vehicle and saw a man covered with a blanket, reclined back in the driver’s seat.
