Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash. - A man accused of beating another man to death in Benton City made his plea in court Wednesday.

26-year-old Johnathen Harmon pled not guilty to second degree murder.

Prosecutors accuse Harmon of beating up 60-year-old Jerry Collins in late October. Collins died three days later.

Although Harmon's trial is set for December 17th, attorneys anticipate it may get pushed back.

His next court appearance is November 29th.
