Doba, seen hugging A.D. Jim Sterk on the sidelines after the win Saturday, will meet with Sterk Monday. They will discuss the state of the program and Doba's role. There has been growing calls for Doba's job after the team's fourht straight losing season.
"I'm not gonna resign," Doba said Saturday. "I sure as hell hope I'm back, yes."
The players thought beating the Huskies for the third time in four years should count for something.
"I don't know what his future holds," said Michale Bumpus, who played his last game Saturday. "I hear what you guys hear. Hopefully it will help him out. I hope it does. He deserves to be here."
