YAKIMA, Wash.- The snow made its mark around the Yakima Valley on Thursday. Here's some of the places the winter weather impacted. All the classes at Heritage University were canceled, and the Yakima School District started two hours behind schedule.
Overall traffic wasn't affected too much. The roads and nearby highways were wet but bare all day long. State troopers report about sixteen accidents since 5 a.m. while Yakima police say there were about four accidents in town today.
The big reminder is when the wet roads turn to ice. Make sure you take your time and slow down.
