KENNEWICK, Wash.--The PETCO Foundation is trying to raise more than $2 million dollars for homeless pets and they need your help.
Through December 24th, customers can stop into any PETCO store and donate to the "Tree of Hope" campaign by buying card ornaments.
General manager Mike Shaffer says the company is determined to give back.
"We're not going to stop it at 1.2 percent. We're actually going to try for two percent so, we're on a really good track right now," says Shaffer.
So far, Kennewick's store has raised $1,200 dollars.
Stores in Union Gap and Wenatchee have raised a little more than $2,000 dollars combined.
Donations are also being accepted online at http://www.petco.com
