A Family Dispute Leads to a Rollover Accident in Kennewick.
KENNEWICK, Wash. - Witnesses are saying 20 people were involved in a family fight at a house on South Elm Street off 15th in Kennewick.
Police were called out to settle the heated argument around 1:30 A.M Wednesday morning. When they arrived, just about everyone involved had taken off to avoid police. One car however didn't make it past the end of the street crashing into a cement barrier.
"One vehicle which was rapidly leaving the area lost control and rolled over," said Corporal Chuck Jones with the Benton County Sheriff's Office.
Police say a mom and her four children were in the car at the time including an adult son, a teenage daughter and two young boys.
They were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
A witness told police the family just jumped in the car in a hurry.
They arrested the mom but haven't said what she's being charged with. Police believe she may have been drinking and is in custody.
