KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The lights were bright down at Clover Island as boats toured in this year's Christmas boat parade. About 15 boats started near the Cable Bridge.
All the boating captains volunteer their boats and their time to decorate them. The boats went up the Columbia River along Columbia Park to Howard Amon Park, where they arrived at about 7:30. They then returned to Clover Island at 9.
The best views were from Clover Island, Columbia Park, and Howard Amon Park.
And if you happened to miss the show Friday, don't worry you can see it Saturday following the same route at the same time.
And if you want to watch the boats from a restaurant like Cedars or the Clover Island Inn, owners say they are very full but they do get a lot of cancellations, so you still may be able to get a spot.
Also, make sure if you do want to see the boats, you catch them from the Benton County side as they will be much closer.
