PASCO, Wash.--Santa Claus and his Elves made a special stop in Pasco today.
Jolly Ol' Saint Nick spent time taking pictures with children at Country Mercantile off of Highway 395. As each child sat on Santa's lap, they were asked what they wanted for Christmas.
And because of donations from community members and the Starlight foundation, each child was overwhelmed with presents.
Plus, every dollar from each photo purchased will be divided among three different charities.
"This year, we're spreading it amongst three different very needed areas," says Santa. There's nothing more important for me then making that sharing."
"All the years we've seen Santa, this has never happened..has it kids," asks Mr. Bunyon? No, but this is great I'll tell ya.
Firefighters from Franklin County fire district number three donated their time as well.
Kids were able to honk the horn and get an up-close look at some fire-fighting equipment.
Santa will be back at Country Mercantile on Sunday, December 9th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
