Six Seahawks headed to Hawaii for Pro Bowl, five as starters

KIRKLAND, Wash. (AP) - The improved defense of the Seahawks has been rewarded as four Seattle defenders will be starters for the Pro Bowl.
Defensive end Patrick Kerney, linebackers Julian Peterson and Lofa Tatupu, and cornerback Marcus Trufant will all start for the NFC in the Feb. 10 game in Honolulu. It is the It is the fourth trip for Peterson, third for Tatupu, second for Kerney and first for Trufant.
Offensively, tackle Walter Jones will be a starter, making his seventh straight Pro Bowl appearance and eighth overall. Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, having the best season of his career, will be a reserve. It's his third trip.
Nate Burleson is an alternate as a punt/kick returner.
