Holiday Travel Outlook

YAKIMA, Wash.- The good news is the Department of Transportation says traffic congestion over the mountain passes isn't near as bad for the Christmas and News years holidays as it is for Thanksgiving. More snow is in the forecast for the holidays, so extra and chains should be on the top of your list.

The Yakima airport says snow isn't a problem for them, it usually causes just minor delays at most. The airport say it's the fog they worry about. If foggy weather moves in again, check your flight status. Horizon air reports no cancellations Tuesday, but two on Monday because of the thick fog in the valley.

Plan ahead and keep it simple, so your holidays are worry free.
