This project that has been underway since early November. Executive Director David Lauer was in charge of the ribbon cutting.
Lauer wants people to remember the importance of keeping the air clean in the Tri-Cities and also introduced an upcoming project they agency is excited about.
"Over about a four year period we're spending about half a million dollars to put exhaust convertors and also crank case ventilation kits on all diesel school buses in the county," he said.
The Benton Clean Air Agency hopes to reduce any toxic pollutants that students might be exposed to when riding the bus to go to school.
