City of Pasco Employees Provide Christmas to Seven Families.
PASCO, Wash. - Seven families will be able to open presents on Christmas thanks to City of Pasco employees.
At City Hall in Pasco this morning a group of employees loaded a U-Haul full of toys and food for some families they're sponsoring.
The toy and food donations came from city employees. U-haul donated the truck and it was organized by the Employee Association of Pasco and one member say the tradition never gets old.
"It's really exciting. People come in, they're smiling, they're really happy. For some people, this is all they're going to get for Christmas and it really makes their day to be able to give to these families and experience the happiness they're going to have today," said Denise Mellene with the City of Pasco.
The Employee Association of Pasco has given gifts to families every Christmas for the past 18 years.
