Neighbors help Toppenish Police catch drug dealers
TOPPENISH, Wash - Tips from neighbors help Toppenish Police in a big drug bust.
Two adult men and one teenage boy were arrested Thursday night after a month long investigation of a house on the 300 block of South Division Street.
Police found a pound of marijuana, meth, over $600.00 in cash and drug paraphernalia in the house.
Officers say this is a great example of police working with neighbors to clean up the city.
"I had citizens that would say they saw 5, 6, 7, 8 cars drive up to the house in one hour," said Detective Paul Logan. "Some would pull up, some would go inside and some would meet for a 1-2 minutes, exchange something and then drive away."
Detective Logan said the surveillance was extremely labor intensive but well worth it.
The three men are facing multiple charges, including narcotics distribution and possession.
