Kennewick Police Still Looking For Suspects on Armed Robbery
KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Kennewick police are still looking for the suspects who robbed a Pizza Hut on Columbia Center Blvd. and Deschutes Ave. late Saturday night.
Police say during closing time at least three suspects broke into the restaurant. They had their faces covered and one of the suspects brandished a handgun at one employee.
K-9 units were able to track the robbers to where they entered a vehicle and fled the restaurant, but not before walking away with some cash.
"They had the employee go back and open the safe, an undisclosed amount of cash was taken, and prior to leaving they duct taped the employees by their arms and their legs," said Officer Scott Peterson, with the Kennewick Police Department.
Police say none of the employees inside were injured. The robbery did not stop Pizza Hut from opening its doors on Sunday. They got back to business as usual. Police are asking anyone with more information on this theft to call crime stoppers.
