PASCO, Wash.-- Holiday travelers were glad to know air traffic was normal for the most part on Christmas Day.
Airport security said they had a busy Christmas morning. They're glad to know most passengers travelling in and out of the airport have remained patient.
They also saids unlike other years the airport in Pasco has seen an unusual increase on holiday travel.
"Overall it's been busier than previous Christmases," said Clifford Odenkirk, Assistant Director of Federal Security for Eastern Washington. "It is very busy in the terminal still this afternoon and we've seen more people flying on Christmas day than usual," he said.
Luckily not too many passengers were delayed. Just in the morning a few flights were held up in Denver due to weather conditions. No major problems for anyone flying out of Pasco.
Airport officials said if the weather stayed in good shape everything would be running on time for the rest of the day.
