Tri-Cities, Wash. - Now that Christmas is over you might be wondering what to do with your old Christmas tree.

Trees can be recycled starting on December 26th until January 18th in Richland.  Ornaments need to be removed.

In Richland, people can take their old Christmas tree to the parking lots of the Richland Pool located at 1005 Swift Boulevard, Badger Mountain Park at 350 Keene Road or to the Horn Rapids Landfill.

In Franklin County trees can be taken to the Tri-Cities International Cross Country Running Course in Pasco December 26th through January 6th from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Any resident that is a Basin Disposal customer can put their tree at the curb with the normal trash.
