Seahawks mostly injury-free for playoff game against Redskins

Associated Press - December 31, 2007 11:55 AM ET

SEATTLE (AP) - Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren says the team is mostly injury free as it prepares for Saturday's game against Washington in Seattle.

He says that quarterback Matt Hasselbeck has a sore wrist from yesterday's loss at Atlanta but will be OK.

He told KIRO Radio that the players who sat out the Falcons game, including defensive tackle Rocky Bernard, offensive tackle Walter Jones and wide receive Deion Branch, will be back.

About the only player who may still be out is special teams leader Niko Koutouvides (NEE-ko KOO-tah-vee-dez).

Holmgren says Washington is on a roll and the Seahawks will have to play their best to advance in the playoffs.
