PASCO, Wash. - A lot of dog owners in the Tri-Cities got a healthy start to the new year Tuesday morning.
Over 100 people and their pets showed up in Pasco to the 8th annual Pooch & Pal Run. It's a fundraising race benefiting Pet Over Population Prevention (P.O.P.P.).
The proceeds from the fundraiser pay to run the P.O.P.P. foster program for homeless dogs and cats, as well as pay to have pets spayed and neutered.
Rob Bartol and "Chopper" won the one and half mile race in just over eight minutes.
