TRI-CITIES, Wash. - Hundreds of people got free rides home Monday night.
Trans-Plus Night Service, which is run through Ben Franklin Transit reported they gave over 900 free rides home.
Meanwhile, Kennewick Police Officers gave seven rides to those in need. They also only made one DUI arrest.
The free ride program aims to keep drunk drivers off the road.
Trans-plus night service staff said the program gets bigger every year.
They say they were working well into the early hours of the morning. They had 30 cabs working Monday night.
