SEATTLE (AP) - Freezing rain, snow and snow mixed with rain are falling over much of Washington state, including the Seattle area.
The National Weather Service is predicting that snow is likely to turn to rain this morning over most low-lying areas in the western part of the state.
Elsewhere, though, heavy snow warnings have been posted for the Cascade Range and most areas to the east.
The weather service is predicting another one to two feet in the Cascades and up to a foot and a half in the eastern foothills by tomorrow morning.
In the Spokane area the forecast is for four to seven inches of snow in town and six to ten inches in the mountains.
Ellensburg also is expected to get four to seven inches with three to five in Yakima and the lower Yakima Valley.
