Richland Teenager Awaits Trial Date for Gun Incident

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash.--One of the teenagers charged with bringing the gun into Richland high school is 15-year-old Bryan Aho. Aho appeared in Benton County Juvenile court today.

His attorney told Commissioner Joseph Schneider that he wasn't ready to set a trial date.

Juvenile Prosecutor, Art Bieker says he is also seeking an additional charge against 14-year-old Shane Toovey. That charge is Theft of a Firearm.

Toovey is the other teen involved with the gun at school.  Both boys face charges of second- degree unlawful possession of a firearm, and possession of a dangerous weapon on school premises.
