KENNEWICK, Wash.-- The Center for Pediatrics is making lead testing on toys available to the community for free.
If you want to ensure the safety of your child and are worried about any toys that may be contaminated with lead, you can now get them tested. Lead has been proven to be toxic and can cause serious health problems for children.
If you have any doubts about toys you've bought in the past or any of those Christmas toys, and want to make your home a safe place for your child bring them to the Center for Pediatrics this Saturday January 12th from 12 to 3 p-m.
It is located at 8108 W. Grandridge Ave. in Kennewick. The testing is free but you are limited to three toys per family.
