YAKIMA, Wash. -- The price to buy a home in Yakima is increasing more than any other city in the country.
That is according to the online real estate tracker "Housing Predictor". They estimate that properties in Yakima will see a 7.1% price increase in 2008.
Local realtors say Yakima is still a buyers market.
"It is a very constant market," says RaeAnne Toth, of Creekside Realty. "It's very steady, so a lot of people have the opportunity to buy homes at a really good price and make a good deal."
Trailing Yakima on the list were Honolulu and Salem, Oregon.
