Students at Saint Paul Cathedral School in Yakima received a first hand lesson on what it was like to live in segregation.
Yesterday the classes were segregated by grade and some students weren't allowed a recess.
Today students were randomly picked and had an X taped on their back.
These students had to eat lunch in a taped off area then had to spend the rest of lunch in the library.
Local black activist Esther Huey will speak to the students during an assembly tomorrow.
